Almonds Dip
subtle and spicy

The dips tend to be soft mixtures but when it comes to Mexican dips the rules change because the strong and spicy flavor of the chili appears. Although this dip has spicy notes it also makes a good job in maintaining the almonds’ subtle flavor, which is wrapped in the creaminess of the cream cheese.

In the almonds dip you will also find freshness but what differentiates it from all the other dips is its pleasant grainy texture that delights all the palates. When you are about to enjoy the dip put many snacks and appetizers around because you never know which new and delicious combinations can be discovered.

About the Recipe

  • In this preparation you are going to cut, fry and blend; although they are many activities it really is easy to make.
  • The dip is prepared with cream cheese and it must not have any flavoring so the dip’s final flavor is not altered.
  • Preferably use spring onion in the recipe because it has a softer flavor than the white onion.
  • This preparation will take you about 10 minutes.
  • With this recipe you will get 1 cup of dip.

  • 3/4 of a cup of Almonds (2.6 oz)
  • 1 Jalapeno Pepper (.5 oz)

    2. Incorporate in the frying pan:

    1. Mix the frying pan ingredients and fry them for approximately 1 minute, until the onion looks a bit transparent; stir regularly.

    3. Transfer from the frying pan to a blender the ingredients that were fried, also add:
