In this recipe 2 ingredients that abound in the world of the Mexican salsas are combined the chipotle pepper and the tomatillo. This combination is interesting because the smoky and spicy flavor of the chipotle is complemented with the acidity and freshness of the tomatillo. Also other ingredients are used that help to balance the flavors and they give a very good seasoning to the salsa.
This exquisite salsa can be used in dishes that have chicken or pork – the smoky, fresh and acidic flavor of the salsa will give another dimension to these dishes. But that’s not the only application of the salsa because it can also be used in tacos, in appetizers or in any dish that you consider.
